 Great duvets for an even better price |

I was skeptical to buy this duvet set and another one of the same brand in a different color, bc several people complained that the color was off or that the threads pulled. Well, the duvets arrived last week and they are lovely. The colors are exactly what is shown in the pics. I bought the black and cream and a blue and cream. I guess the others need to adjust their color settings on the monitor bc I see blue and cream in the pics and that's exactly what I got. Also, in person, the foreground color is cream, not tan as someone stated.
As for the threads pulling, I washed both sets in hot water with oxyclean on the long cycle, then they went in the dryer. No pulled strings here. Also, I like the fact that the material is very soft and doesn't wrinkle a lot when you wash and dry it. Overall, a great price for very lovely duvets. |

| I always purchased my duvet covers from Ikea. They were cheap enough. Because the next Ikea is over an hour away from my house, I ordered it from Amazon and I can not tell you enough how pleased I am. The color is great and the quality is equal to the ones you'd pay $60 at Macy's. Free shipping too...how can you beat it? |

I bought the queen waterblue duvet 2-3 months ago for the master bedroom in my new home. I absolutely love it! The fabric is very soft and durable. I've had multiple compliments from friends and family, and many asked where I purchased it. I'm debating buying another one in case something happens to the one I have now.
I've washed the set twice since purchasing it, and I haven't had any problems. The wrinkles come out nicely, especially if the comforter is put in the duvet immediately after the duvet comes out of the dryer.
It does run on the larger size. I had to put my king size down comforter in it instead of my queen down comforter. It does have a very slight turquoise tint to it, but I like that about it. The white is not a stark white, but more of an off-white. The only major problem I ran into was finding matching curtains. I ended up finding the best matching curtains at Target-- Modern Home Velvet Grommet Window Panel in Rocky River.

With the economy the way it is today a lot of us have to think about spending a lot less on the goods that we buy and looking for cut price options. This does not, however, mean that you should not We should still buy top standard discount duvet covers. Getting discount duvet covers does not mean that they are poor standard and unsuitable forusing in the way which they are meant.
I imagine that why we need duvet covers is that the duvet is difficult and sometimes not possible to keep clean. The reason for this is it is often made of down and feathers which make it more comfortable and cosy but are not very condusive to washing. It is simple to just strip a cover off to launder it if you spill anything on the bed.
It is also lots less costly and simpler to alter the color plan of the house as you can simply change the duvet covers.. Purchasing a new lot again would cost a lot more.
The material that duvet covers are made out of is what normally determines the xost and differentiates cheap duvet covers from designer duvet covers. Egyptian cotton, linen and silk are some of the most popular and best cloths around at present.
There are a few choices to consider. Maybe the most important thing to think about is the size of the bed that you want to the duvet to cover. There is a little variance in sizes but the normal ones seem to be:-.
super king size – this is the largest of the standard sizes and is 102 ins by 87 ins.
the single duvet is 79 ins by 73 ins.
The color is the next thing to consider. You can, of course, get them in any color to suit the bedroom. I was never tempted with a black duvet cover but the softer colors like white are fine.
A duvet as we know it today has only been common after the beginning of the 20th century but there are records of similar feather filled bedclothes as lomg ago as the middle of the 18th century. They were first called continental quilts or just quilts and in some parts of the world they are referred to as a comforter.
Their tog rating is howwe measure duvets and if you need a warmer duvet choose a higher tog. Getting a duvet set is going to save you a lot of money.
